About TuMan
TuMan Productions was created in the late summer of 2006, but the founding members Matt "Tractition" Lowe, and Michael Jaramillo aka. "Mic Jay" had been together in several bands, projects, and minstrels for hire about twelve years prior. It was the revival of a song that the two had arranged three years earlier in a mutual friends garage which would lead to the birth of the production group. The song was "So Long," the first track to be recorded for the fledgling group's forthcoming full-length album "TuMan Presents DarbStar". "So Long" was released as a single and won best in hip-hop at the 2007 New Mexico Awards. Meanwhile work continued on the album with a steady pace about one song being completed a month.  The DarbStar project had finished in November of 2007 and was nominated for Best Pop Album, and won Best in Hip-Hop at the 2008 New Mexico Music Awards.

The two have continued their work with several talented artists and have recently completed work on
TuMan Presents Zack Freeman. Production on The Radio Alchemist is nearing completion and should be ready in mid to late July 2009.

TuMan is happy to announce our win at the 2009 New Mexico Music Awards. This year we were honored to take home the trophy for:
Best in Rap with Nick Fury for Crabs in a bucket
